B.D.A.C Rod and Reel Match Results Date 27.10.24 at Tarka. Today 14 anglers fished the match and the weather was nice and dry and sunny, all anglers caught fish though fishing was slow at times for some. Today's winner was Richard Jefferies on peg 10 float fishing to the cage who managed to put together a net of carp for 32lbs 6oz, second place went to Rhys Eyles on peg 6 with some nice carp and some silvers for 28lbs 14oz, third place was Martin Turner on peg 9 with a nice mixed bag for 26lbs 9oz, and forth place went to Martin Bailey on peg 13 with a mixed bag of fish for 17lbs 5oz. Today was a very wet day with fishing very slow at times for some anglers, 15 anglers fished the match today and all caught fish. Today winner was Antony Bentley on peg 10 with a fine bag of fish for 44lbs 6oz, second place was Keith Mountjoy on peg 9 with 30lbs 7oz, 3rd place was Warren Thornton on peg 22 with a nice mixed bag of fish for 22lbs 3oz and 4th place today went to Darren Polden on peg 21 with a mixes bag of fish for 21lbs. Today the weather was dry but windy making fishing difficult for some anglers. 15 anglers fished the match today and most caught fish, 1st place today went to Stephen Paul Sheller with a magnificent weight of fish for 50lbs 11oz on peg 22 he fished a feeder up to the island, 2nd place was Martin Turner on peg 8 with a nice mixed bag of fish for 25lbs 15oz, 3rd place went to Keith Mountjoy on peg 19 with 23lbs 12oz and 4th place went to Richard jefferies on peg 14 with 22lbs 3oz. Today match was fished in lovely sunny conditions with a light breeze. Fishing was a bit hard for some but some good weights was weighed in. First place today went to Craig Lamey on peg 12 with a great mix bag of fish for 39lbs 5oz second place was Stephen Paul Sheller on peg 22 with a lovely mixed bag of fish for 32lbs 10oz. Third place was Richard Jefferies on peg 16 with a net of carp for 31lbs 10oz and forth place went to Antony Bentley with 29lbs 5oz the next Rod and Reel match will be at Tarka on the 25.8.24. Today the weather was sunny with some light rain at times. 13 anglers fished the match and all caught fish.
1st place today went to Richard Jefferies on peg 10 with a nice mixed bag of fish for 35lbs 13oz, 2nd place was Darren Polden on peg 8 with 26lbs 13oz 3rd place went to Warren Thornton on peg 6 with 23lbs 9oz and 4th place was taken by 2 anglers Stephen Paul Sheller and Colin O'Hagan both had 22lbs 6oz next match will be on the 28.7.24 at Tarka

Today the weather was a bit sunny with a few showers and fishing was steady. 1st place today went to Richard Jefferies on peg 10 with a weight of 34lbs 8oz mainly Carp, 2nd place when to Stephen Paul Sheller on peg 6 with 33lbs 15oz and 3rd place was Keith Copland on peg 8 with 23lbs 13oz. Fishing today was very hard with most anglers struggling to get bites and some not weighing in. Today's winner was Craig Lamey on peg 14 with 19lbs 15oz fishing to the cage, 2nd place when to Keith Copland on peg 10 with 13lbs 2oz 3rd place went to Oscar Beer on peg 8 with 11lbs 4oz and 4th place was Stephen Paul Sheller with 11lbs 3oz. B.D.A.C Rod and Reel match results date 24.3.24 at Tarka. Today proved to be again very difficult for most anglers fishing the match with not to many fish being caught. The N/W wind today was not making fishing easy for some but the sun was warm. First place today went to Nathan Underwood on peg 6 with a nice net of fish for 28lbs 15oz 2nd place was Roger Ackroyd on peg 12 with 26lbs 15oz 3rd place was Warren Thornton on peg 10 with 17lbs 2oz and 4th place went to Kevin Shears on peg 14 with 13lbs 15oz. Today only 9 anglers fished the Rod and Reel match and the weather turned out to be very wet and extremely windy with fishing very hard, not one of the best days to be sat around a lake. 7 anglers weighed in and weights was low. 1st place today went to Colin O'Hagan on peg 13 with a couple Carp and some silvers for 12lbs 13oz, 2nd place was Antony Bentley on peg 11 with a mix bag of fish for 11lbs 8oz and 3rd place went to Darren Polden on peg17 with 11lbs 3oz. Today was the start of the Rod and Reel match series for B.D.A.C at Tarka, the weather held off, a bit cloudy and very windy at times. 15 anglers fished the first match and fishing was very hard for most but all anglers caught fish. 1st place today went to Richard Dennis on peg 10 who managed to put together a nice net of fish on the feeder for 18lbs 11oz. 2nd place went to Keith Mountjoy on peg 17 fishing a straight lead with bread the cage he managed to put together a nice net of mixed fish for 14lbs 5oz. 3rd place went to Richard Jefferies on peg 19 float fishing the margins who had 13lbs 14oz and 4th place was Darren Polden with 13lbs 12oz on peg 6.
