B.D.A.C Rod and Reel Match Results date 23.3.25 at Tarka.
15 anglers fished the match today and for once the weather was dry, all anglers caught fish with some good weights being weighed in. First place today went to Richard Jefferies on peg 10 he fished hard pellet to the cage and managed to catch a nice net of carp for 34lbs 11oz, second place went to Martin Turner on peg 11 fishing with maggot to the cage for a nice mix bag of fish for 30lbs 13oz, 3rd place was Colin O'Hagan on peg 16 with 26lbs 10oz and 4th place went to Darren Polden on peg 13 with 22lbs 15oz. Next Rod and Reel match is on the 27.4.25 at Tarka. Well done Richard on your win today could you not fit my big fat head in the picture as well with all the fish.

8 Anglers fished today's Rod and Reel match at Tarka and the weather was very wet and windy at best. All anglers caught fish but fishing was hard at times for some. Today winner was Dave Wilkins on peg 12 with all carp for his weight was 21lbs 5oz caught on the feeder in the margins, 2nd place today Martin Turner on peg 9 with and nice mixed bag of fish for 16lbs 15oz, 3rd place today went to Richard Jefferies on peg 11 with 16lbs 7½ fishing to the cage. Today the weather was terrible very wet and very windy, 10 anglers fished the match today and fishing was hard going. Today's winner was Darren Polden on peg 17 fishing to the cage with a nice bag of carp for
24lbs. 2nd place was Keith Mountjoy on peg 14 with 19lbs 12oz fishing in the margins on the tip and 3rd place went to Keith Copland on peg 8 with 5lbs 7oz.
