Georges Lake Blog

George's is a 1.5 acre first class mixed species coarse lake. Constructed around 2006 when one of it's club members, Neilsen Jeffery, along with the Environment Agency found some land at Gammaton near Bideford, and what a beautilful fishery it is today. There are 26 platforms all with disabled access. Fishing from platforms only, with a maximum 2 rods per angler, barbless hooks only. No fixed leads or braided line.
